This paper wants to analise a part of a biogas plant, the feeding system. As it is known, a biogas plant is a complex installation, consisting of many components. The layout of a biogas plant depends very much on the types and amounts of feedstock supplied. As there are many different feedstock types suitable for digestion in biogas plants, there are, correspondingly, various techniques for treating these feedstock types and also different digester constructions and systems of operation. That is why, depending on the type, size and operational conditions of each biogas plant, there are various technologies for conditioning, storage and utilisation of biogas. Generally, agricultural biogas plants operate with four different process stages: transport, delivery, storage and pretreatment of feedstock, biogas production and storage of digestate. This paper studies the feeding system of such a plant and the main pumps used in the process of transport of feedstock, such as: centrifugal pumps, pressure displacement pumps with their characteristics and components, considering that these pumps are an important part from the feeding system of the biogas plant.

The work fits into the broader concept called "Plant protection". The researchers from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Food Industry and Environmental Protection of "Lucian Blaga" intensified their research work in the direction of plant pathology, as well as on the specific pests. The research was carried out between 2014-2015 in the School Farm's apple orchard in the Rusciori village, Sibiu County. This research aimed to identify the fauna of the studied agricultural ecosystems, determining the severity of pest attack, assessing the damages and suggesting solutions. The Rusciori Farm passed through a period of decline due to the frequently changing of orchard owners. At present, by appropriate studies, it was tried to bring the farm into an appropriate form. In this study, there were the following research methods: direct observation on the plant, the collection of the entomological material with attacked organs of the plants, the use of the entomological jar, the use photo paper. The main conclusion was that the integrated protection by applying measures and means of prevention and treatment against pests play a very important role, representing the number one technological factor on fruit growing practice.

This is just a partial study for an ample research regarding evolution of species from Cervidae family in Romania. The programme is developed in collaboration with Romanian Hunter’s Federation. The main purpose of this study is to reveal the reality, to find causes and to elaborate long term strategies in direction of biodiversity conservation, especially for wild game. In the last years the Romanian hunters indicate that the number of roe deer population decreasing, because of intensive agriculture and also because of high number of predators (bear, wolf and lynx population). The analysis is based on the official data from national evaluation of sedentary game in Giurgiu County. Hunting territories in this area are managed by National Forest Authority, county associations of hunters and other associations for conservation of biodiversity and management of hunting territories. The real cervidae livestock was analyzed between 2006 and 2015 by county, and sex, and in comparison with the optimal livestock (maximal number of individuals who can leave in a hunting area without causing damage to the agricultural fields or in the forest). Considering the new agricultural techniques and technologies it is relatively normal to find a numerical depreciation of wild game. In analysed period in Giurgiu County, the cervidae populations is good and representative. Also, there were analyzed the differences between what can be seen in hunting territories and what is reported. As a conclusion, the official evaluation is not perfect and the problem is to put together population from fence area (intensive growth) with the population from free area. In this case, it is needed to evaluate exactly the livestock and to developed a long term strategy for conservation of biodiversity.
