This study has a purpose to assess the value chain of shallot agribusiness in medium land of Majalengka. The data is collected through interview using a questionnaire that was prepared in advance. Respondents in this study include agroinput actors, growers or shallot farmers, market participants (wholesalers, retailers), financial institutions, partner institutions, and required resources. This study uses a value chain analysis through stages of entry points, value chain mapping, value chain management, the determination of the profit margin on each chain actors, analysis of governance structures, and upgrading the value chain. The results showed that agribusiness value chain management needs to be improved, both at primary actors and supporting actors. Their business is profitable and worth the effort. There are five marketing channel patterns of shallot in the medium land of Majalengka. The biggest profit margin is in channel pattern one, namely farmers-farmers’ groups-partner institution-consumer.

The aim of this study was to forecast sheep numbers in Bulgaria on 01.11.2016 and on 01.11.2017, using a vector error correction model (VECM). A vector error correction model was constructed to forecast sheep numbers in Bulgaria for 2016 and 2017. The model was developed on the basis of 3 time series for the period 2000 – 2015 year. The time series were: Sheep numbers in Bulgaria on 01 November, Number of sheep farms on 01 November and Consumption of lamb and goat meat for 1 year per member of household (kg). Sources of information were annual data from the Ministry of agriculture and food, Republic of Bulgaria and the data from the National Statistical Institute. The stationarity of the variables was tested with Augmented Dickey-Fuller Unit Root Test. The cointegration of the three variables was estimated with Johansen Cointegration Test. VECM was constructed with lag length 1 and 1 cointegrated vector. An intercept was included in the model. Granger causality test was performed with the help of Wald Test in order to check the short-run causal relationship, running from the independent variables to the dependent variable. In order to forecast the number of sheep on 01 November 2016 and on 01 November 2017, one of the equations of the VECM was estimated with the method of least squares. The standard error of the regression, the coefficient of determination, the Adjusted R-squared of regression, F-statistic of regression, Jarque – Bera Test of Normality, Breusch-Godfrey Serial Correlation LM Test and Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity Test of Residuals were calculated. To check the stability of the model, the cumulative sum and cumulative sum of square had been represented. The forecasted sheep numbers in Bulgaria on 01.11.2016 are 1,313,796; and on 01.11.2017 are 1,306,403.

In order to study the characteristics of success in life we must consider the social construction of genders (male and female) manifested in the interaction between the sexes. Social interpretation of biological sex leads to the identification of a set of behaviors particular to each sex, both in society and subsequently in private life as well as in the public eye. The research aims to identify the opinions and beliefs on the matter of students from the Veterinary Medicine University of Bucharest, their views on success in life, in the work place, in their study environment and in society as a whole, the characteristics of each gender, equality between women and men. The research findings reveal a specific social pattern determined by gender and residential environment .

Each nation constituting its cultural identity is based on several symbols, customs, legends, religious beliefs, etc., which leave its mark on the development of society. One of the commonly used symbols is also the vine. In all times the painters were overwhelmed by the vine, the gift of the gods. On the canvases of the great masters of the past and of the present we see compositions related to the cultivation of the vine, as well as the production of wine. Over the course of his life, man struggled to make his own living space and beautify his living space. Still in the Stone Age, our ancestors were drawing bison, horses, tigers, mammoths and other animals on the walls of the cave. These were the first steps of mankind in the development of art. With the emergence of the first civilizations and the first cities, various techniques of expressing everything that is beautiful and capable of provoking positive emotions have developed.

In addition to the economic investment and sustainable developement strategies, an organization needs to create a good communication strategy, in order to attract tourists, investors, to promote a specific area, or to improve the quality of life. This strategy should be the designed to built a strong relationship between the public administration and the local community who is directly involved in the actions carried out in the area. Thus, the residents are informed about the projects developed and they can be more involved in the process and express their opinion, which is helpful for the public administration, if they take the time to listen the feedback from the community. The research aims to identify the visual means of communication used the the rural governance of Berzovia from Caraș Severin county for transmission of various messages of public interest. Themethodology used is based on qualitative research methods such as observation collection of the visual data and semiotics analysis. Following analysis, it was found that messages sent by means of visual communication reached faster to the receptors, which led to a participatory attitude much higher in community projects developed, than other projects which were based on non-visual communication.

The land fund of Romania represents a huge potential for agriculture. The potential has proved difficult to achieve, and among the main vulnerabilities researched lately, we have identified the decline in consumption of vegetable crops, fruit and meat, determined by the declining purchasing power in Romania and the European Union's common market. Therefore the degree of achievement of the agricultural potential is directly influenced by economic developments in Romania and EU Member States. The technical endowment of Romanian farmers is an old and still unresolved problem. Even though Romania has benefited from EU pre-accession funds and still benefits from it, they proved to be a poor solution for Romanian farmers with farm machinery equipment. Indicator analysis of the evolution of the number of tractors in Romania in the post-accession period, reveals that the actual number of tractors in the period under review increased overall, but even if the total number of tractors in Romania increased from 2007 until 2012, UAA (ha) per a tractor is almost constant.

The main objective of this investigation was to study the possibility of producing fish oil from smoking salmon waste by using cold pressing and wet rendering methods. The amount and the properties of extracted of oil were tested. The samples were used about 33.810 kg., smoked fish caused about 9.610 kg. As a Salmon waste (skin, viscera, backbone frames and cuts off) it's recorded about 20% of the total mass from salmon slices. The results showed the smoking salmon waste have more than18% of oil fish per one kg of salmon waste. The oil weight from Salmon by-products was increased with pressing time increase as well as oil yield increased. The oil extraction increased and characterization of quality. The optimum conditions at pressing time was 180 min., oil weight was 93 g. oil/500 g. Salmon by-products, oil productivity was 18.00%, and extraction efficiency were 98.46 % at constant pressure. The oil weight from Salmon by-products was increased with heating time increase as well as oil productivity increased. The oil extraction yield increased with the wet rendering processes at heating time of 60 min. have oil weight about 90 g. oil/500 g. Salmon by-products , oil productivity about 18.00%, and extraction efficiency was 95.23% . The oil yield increased with both processes and cold pressing methods gave good looking and high quality of oil fish.

In accomplish eco-friendly natural resource utilization, the concept such industrial ecology and cleaner production are proposed. The two terms are generally considered to have nearness and numerous likenesses. The time of advancement of environmental management in the late 1980s to the mid-1990s turned into the beginning of the two ideas. Recently the likenesses and contrasts between the two ideas are still bantered in connection to the multifaceted nature of the issues examined. Unfortunately, a few definitions and implementations had done as such far just spotlight on the economic and ecological perspectives just so there are other vital angles, for example, social viewpoints that are as yet immaculate. Environmental problem solving needed multi perspective approach including the concept of cleaner production or industrial ecology. Therefore, the new paradigm in cleaner production and industrial ecology request agreement with the idea of economic improvement through the thought of the three pillars (social, economic and environment) and in addition all-encompassing and exhaustive examination. The new approach is required to minimize the ecological effects, as well as to enhance individuals' expectations for everyday comforts through financial strengthening and social states of the network.

In today's fast-paced and stressful lifestyle, short-term forms of tourism become increasingly preferred. Another factor that favors short-term trips (given the conditions in Bulgaria) are the financial constraints on households and the lack of enough free time. This is precisely the basis for the rapid development of weekend tourism in Bulgaria and its high level of participation. On the other hand, Bulgarian traditions and folklore, traditional cuisine, architectural features of certain regions, the nature, spontaneous contact with nature, high degree of diversity and other factors can be considered as unique tourist resources for the development of rural tourism in the country. What is more, these resources if used as an integral part of rural tourism product, can make it extremely attractive and sought-after by both Bulgarian and foreign tourists. Therefore, it can be argued that weekend tourism in rural areas is one (or should be one) of the new tourism realities of destination Bulgaria, which is also in the context of the main purpose of this research.
