Organizing and carrying out foreign economic activity is an area of major importance in the creation of a new economic mechanism by which the country is classified is performed in the global economy. World experience confirms that many countries have achieved a significant increase of socio-economic development, because of their open “economy”, which involves relatively free movement of goods, capital, technology, labor and knowledge. Integration evolution contributes to the increase of the import-export potential of any country. Global competition and domestic market protection prevent, however, the expansion of export flows. Thus, the external links of a country are conditioned and regulated by the interaction of the factors listed above. This paper aims to present some considerations on foreign economic activity as an important factor in the sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova.

The purpose of this paper is to determine and analyze the impact of the exchange rate on trade in agri food products and finally, on the payments balance of the Republic of Moldova. In order to achieve the intended purpose there will be performed a correlation between the evolution of the balance of payments and the exchange rate, which is explained by the fact that when the volume of exports is higher than that of imports and, therefore the trade balance is positive or excesses the domestic one, there will be a larger supply of foreign currency on the market and the national currency will register a trend of its appreciation. Instead, the competitiveness of domestic products will reduce because they will become more expensive. In the research process there was used the method of induction, initially by general information about the exchange rate and balance of foreign payments, about its structure, and subsequently there was used the analysis of concrete data on trade in agri food products and the balance of payments as well as the dynamics of the national currency depreciation. Having applied the method of deduction it was concluded that under a deficient trade balance, when imports exceed exports, there will be an increase in the demand for foreign currency, the national currency will depreciate and domestic goods will be cheaper, which means more competitive. Statistical data and the calculations show a depreciation of the national currency in recent years, due to the superposition of three major events: the depreciation of national currencies from the region; the reduction of the currency supply as a result of a reduction of exports, remittances and foreign direct investments; the increase in demand for foreign currency as a result of the withdrawal of the capital from the country.

The article deals with the problem of impact of modern social cultural and economic factors upon the young rural family. The problems of these contradictory and complex impacts led to such negative phenomena as reduction of its size, the growth of divorces and the share of people who have never been married, the growth of unregistered unions and births, the decrease in the number of children, the weakening of intra-family communications, the destruction of value foundations, and others. The problem of the rural territories’ development becomes urgent as in the globalization and urbanization conditions the youth strives to leave the modern village which is characterized by the scarcity of the labor application spheres, a low income level, the underdevelopment of population social protection forms, the lack of possibilities and places for spending a spare time. The author’s view on the young family problems has been given. The sociological studies made it possible to analyze social demographic situation presupposing the population decrease in connection with the number and the youth share decrease, the birth rate reduction alongside with a gradual transfer to the European family model, the women education growth and the value orientation change of the rural youth will cause serious problems of the territories’ occupation and the traditional economic direction development-the agricultural industrial complex of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The statistics data and the studies’ analysis have defined the directions of the young rural family model improvement.

We live in a world where globalization is increasingly spoken about and its role in the development of humanity, where local economies and social groups have become the exponents of a dynamic system, being interconnected through communications, transport and commerce. All these elements have made humanity a very complex system, but vulnerable due to the economic, technological, socio-cultural, political and biological factors that contributed to the emergence of asymmetric threats to global security. One of these threats is terrorism. This paper proposes an analysis of the effects that terrorist attacks have had on the European Union tourism, given the large and increasing number of these attacks. Tourism offers the opportunity to visit, discover, know, observe how other civilizations live, is an important engine of the economy, but at the same time it is very sensitive to events that can affect personal safety. Thus, after taking over the statistical data on tourist traffic, data provided by Eurostat and the National Institute of Statistics in Bucharest, we analyzed and interpreted this information, which gave us some conclusions regarding the way in which the terrorist attacks affected the personal safety of tourists and how they influenced their choices.
